TAFE Outreach programs are closely aligned to the Federal Social Inclusion Agenda ensuring NSW education is accessible to people who face barriers to learning including geographical and social isolation, language and cultural factors, financial hardship, lack of educational confidence, being unaware of opportunities to learn, a disability or family commitments.

How is the Qualification Tailored?

This project offers participants the opportunity to achieve a number of qualifications, ranging from Statement of Attainments in Vocational and Community Engagement through to full Certificate IV qualifications.
Throughout this project the Outreach Coordinator plays a lead role ensuring that ongoing negotiations between all key players (including students) is maintained. Each social enterprise offers a supported learning space for community members to access meaningful training, qualifications and work experience.
Outreach’s commitment to participatory education results in inclusive delivery, relevant content and a space for all community members to have a voice about the future directions of the project.
